I’m at the Indiana Est café, waiting for my train and sampling the free WiFi. If only the rest of the world woke up and smelled the coffee. Giving access does not make people stay longer, it makes them consume more! :p
Dad dropped me off at the station and this is the first thing I saw as I walked it. It’s similar to the Arago things that point out the north elsewhere in Paris.

Before that, I had a nice lunch with Dad at Foujita. They were serving a LOT of toro today, which means that the fish prices must have been quite reasonable. I am glad I didn’t take the unadon I was planning on taking because I wouldn’t have had as much toro :p I’m greedy.

In the parking near the restaurant, there were some really beautiful vintage cars. It’s tacky but Dad and I went to drool quickly before heading to eat.

There probably won’t be any blogging from me for a few days.

… that this slice of webinated goodness will be 6 years old this August, in exactly one month?
That’s right, Nullsphere, under its various incarnations has been online since 2001. Isn’t it mad?
It has lived through:
- 3 host moves
- 4 internal server moves
- 4 tool migrations
- 3 domain changes
- 1 scandal
Right now, I went through my old computer which Dad now uses to find Shoemanity posts, which cover the time between my engagement and entering engagement school. It should have a few dated posts there that need to be migrated here.
The archives from 2001 and the old nullsphere also need to be migrated here at some point.
And one day, hopefully not to far from now, I’ll find my paper diary that covers the gaps in 2002 as well. Wouldn’t it be grand?
Who knows, my 2001 e-diary could also turn up! Or at least a paper copy, which I should have kept somewhere…

Some highlights from Chai 33 in the Bercy Village during our very latest outing there with my brother K, his partner & nephew and my dad. All 5 of us had a decent selection from the menu.

Science fiction may have long evoked the possibility of communicators built into bodies but this article shows us that it is all but a step away.
