But not from outer space.

Just back from Prague, where I had a really, really good time with my colleagues. For a work seminar, it felt really like a holiday camp, pretty removed from day-to-day reality.

After a plane ride with a screaming kid (he screamed for two and a half hours; there are singers that can’t do that) and a quick drive home, I slipped back into my lazy weekend habits by doing nothing the whole weekend. Well, next to nothing because TBH, there’s rarely a time where I’m not doing anything.

Paris in summer is a strange place. It is a city with no people in certain places and an overcrowded hive in others. I happen to live in one of the deadzones. On Saturday, having emerged from a well deserved 12-hour sleep, Dad and I made our way down to the shopping center for a Starbucks and food shopping. There was absolutely no one on the streets…
