Lily Ardellian is a twenty-something with a knack for causing mayhem.

Despite the trials and tribulations of being a stranger in a foreign land, she’s finally adjusted to Le Good Life in Paris and is not yearning to leave as often as before. A former student of a minor engineering school, she’d now employed at the BigCorp, with a salary that allows for guilt-free latte at Starbucks.

A geekette at heart, our heroine has often found herself more at ease conversing with the machine world than the meatbags around her, but has also discovered the agreable sides of human interaction, with frequent m33ts to assuage her need to party.

Rather unlucky in love, she’s finally stopped looking for a hypothetical Mr. Perfect and settled for Mr. Nice. It has proved to be a sound choice so far, and Lily hopes that it will continue to be so.

Her interests include geekish pursuits, comic books, crafting, reading, walking around to look at shops and shopping itself, with the exclusion of Saturday afternoon food shopping with is something rather a-kin to hell.

Recently, her mother’s illness and subsequent death have taken her both further into and away from the geekish pursuits she enjoyed. She has grown more introspective and more neurotic, as well as more demanding. Having been deprived of support during the crucial first days of her pain, Lily is now suffering from near-debilitating bouts of angst, depression and rage-fuelled silences.

Update for December 2006

Lily has started on a new project with 360Fashion, a network of fashion professionals, dreamt up by anina.

Important note:
Lily reminds visitors that she is the pen name of a real human but her human has grown used to being called so. As Julius Caesar showed, it’s always easier to write about one’s self when one thinks of one’s self in the third person.
